I went to see Dr. GauGau for a second opinion. Not only did he address the issue, but he also pointed out other health concerns that the previous doctor did not mention. He provided recommendations In statistics behind his recommendations. Overall, I am happy with the information given.

I had my UFE procedure with Dr. Gaugau in May 2026 as my fibroid was steadily growing and leaning on my sciatic nerve. I was referred to him via an old co-worker/friend when I shared with her that Danielle Salley from Waldorf Women's Care told me that if I was considering the UFE, I might as well go under anesthesia for a hysterectomy. I was upset, hurt and confused as I did not have the "typical" symptoms of a woman my age and she did not even take the time to review my medical file and history.Dr. GauGau and his team put me at ease and were always professional and personable. It has been 4 months, and I feel wonderful as I followed/am following his after-surgery instructions along with felling healthier overall. Trust your gut, PRAY and get a consultant appointment with this practice. I no longer have pain, and my weight is going down in a moderate pace by increasing my exercise and changing my diet---basically a lifestyle adjustment. I know I made the right choice!

I had a bit of anxiety with having the fibroid embolization done but Dr. Gaugau and the staff were incredibly comforting. Everyone was helpful and very kind. I am 3 months post procedure and my cycle has not only shortened, but the pain has decreased significantly as well. Dr. Gaugau also assisted after hours when we needed. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is experiencing the horrors of having fibroids. This procedure has been life altering!-Brandon
